Traffic & Sanitation Enforcement Movement 1/9/07
The Traffic and Sanitation Enforcement Movement shifted directions 10 months ago. We made necessary demands on ourselves and our members. Our members realized that it's does not take much strength to do things. but it requires great strength to decide on what to do. We have since changed a lot of negative thinking into more positive ones.
Now it's the time to call on ourselves to capitalize on our experience. 2007 is an excellent opportunity to launch a major change economically and politically. This is also an historical opporunity for us to estabish unity in order to achieve the following goals:
- Traffic & Sanitation Enforcement officer
- For serious advertisement of our officer everywhere
- To establish a felony bill up to 7 years and Peace officer status
- To be recognized by the City of New York as Traffic & Sanitation uniformed officer ( TO Bargain separately )
- A stepping plan to $50,000 Dollars
- A pension plan for 20 years of service or age 55 years old to receive full pension
Our primary goal is to establish a new direction for Traffic & Sanitation Agent shift from a political form of protest to a movement that requires economic and political power. We must establish our values throughout our New York City community. It is necessary to establish a strategy to repair the damage done to Traffic and Sanitation Enforcement Agents.
New York City has been less than 100% supportive of our efforts and with your help we can change that. There is power in numbers. Traffic and Sanitation Agents have generated millions of dollars in revenue on a yealy basis for the City Of New York.
It is time that NYC respect us for our efforts but most of all we must come together in one frame of mind to achieve our goals. By coming together we show the true meaning of the word " UNION "
There wiill be a change
